Xtro Precision has successfully designed with customer support and manufactured a test contact finger specifically for a Mems manufacturing and test company. The project included design also of the required test socket fixture. The main challenges of this project was the tight timeframes requested by the customer. We can say that we succeeded in less than three months the cycle included intensive design and two prototypes , which where then finalised into one design. The final test socket was then put on production, where we currently have manufactured Qty: 60 test sockets to support Qty:24 test setups running on production 24/7.
